The TIBHAR Hybrid K3 was developed in collaboration with top players Shang Kun, Cedric Nuytinck and Darko Jorgic. Three world-class players with different game systems, united in the pursuit of a well-coordinated combination that provides enormous rotation at the highest possible speed. This was exactly what the focus was during development. The challenge was big, because a high-grip surface like that of the Hybrid K3 actually reduces speed due to the longer contact with the ball. By developing a special combination of sponge and rubber pips, we managed to direct the energy transfer forward despite the enormous grip and achieve high speed values.
